Manufacturers
The Canadian minds at work! We have some very innovative and well
built machines made in Canada. It's time to blow our own
horn! Of course if you'd like to look at all that are
available, a more international list can be found at the Powerchutes.com
manufacturer page. As you can see this list is pretty slim and
only includes those who have sent me their information.
*Another disclaimer - No particular PPC
is recommended over another here, the descriptive comments are from
the manufacturer, I urge you to contact them for more info, or visit
their websites.
Sundog Powerchutes Inc.
We are a brand new company that
has taken several good ideas and added our own to make the best
PPC out there. The two seater is a side by side model that was
made with safety, comfort, ease of use and dependability in
mind. Have a look at our website for full info and specs.
The
Sundog is different. As you probably have noticed from our
pictures, Sundog powered parachutes are quite different than all
the other cloned powered parachutes on the market. We noticed
PPC's getting more and more complicated, and longer and heavier
over the past few years. As well, we noticed dozens of new
upstart powered parachute manufacturers simply cloning the
general configurations of the few longtime PPC companies.

The Sundog is a modern powered parachute rethought! A PPC that
is kept simple, small, light and still excels in safety,
comfort, strength, dependability and ease of use.

Paraski International
The 2002 Paraski Top Gun
It is the best machine we've ever done. It is available with the Rotax 582 or the Hirth
2 706. Also available is the big 4 cylinder 2stroke 110 h.p. fuel
injected Hirth engine.
New for 2002 is the extended roll bar and much increased leg
room. The 2 separate seats are more comfortable and we now have
a shoulder belt as well as a lap belt. There are a pair of shock
absorbers to compliment the rear heavy duty suspension. The body
is wider too and the frame has been re-enforced in critical
areas. The body now features less paneling on the sides and in
back for a more "open" look. Full paneling is still available
but as an option. Besides the cleaner look the other benefit is
increased airflow to the prop which in turn increases the
thrust. We now have semi-elliptical versions of our standard
rectangular parachutes which are available in 400, 500, and 600
sq. ft. sizes. The frame can also be fitted with frontal crash
bars and we also have an optional AOA mechanism. AOA means angle
of attack, the mechanism installed in the Para-Ski allows us to
change the AOA of the parachute in flight and allows for
increased or decreased speed.
